Artistic and versatile would be suited words for my character. I love art in all its forms. Performing art is definitely my favorite medium. I've been dancing professionally for 3 years now, with side work encompassing modelling, acting, and singing. I believe that a better understanding of an audience makes for a better performer.
Delightful ways to open your mind to others:
1) Work in the service industry
2) learn another language
3) Travel. (and by this, I do NOT mean a big fancy resort where everyone speaks English and you have all the comforts of home right there with you. Just because you've been to a country, doesn't mean you've seen it.)
When I'm not working, you can find me hiking in Lynn Valley when it's sunny, snowboarding on Cypress when it's snowing, and indoors reading when it's raining. If I have a night off and Canucks are in town, you can bet I'll be at the game... even though Ruutu's gone.... BUT HEY we still got MATT COOKE! Go Canucks Go!
During the summer I ride my bike. (Yeah, the Kawasaki in the pics). During the spring and/or fall I travel (anyone volunteer abroad?). And there's nothing like a Vancouver summer feeding the ducks at Jericho and throwing a football around. I do sporadic things and I never regret. Each moment in life should be treated as a beautiful experience. Even when suffering through hardships, one can be thankful. I have been so lucky in my life that I have never been through true suffering. I think we all take advantage of that....
Right now I'm taking a TEFL course so I can teach English abroad.

We hiked up Cypress after it closed and built a kicker off of a roller. BBQ, beer, the sun, and good company made for an awesome day on the mountain. (I'm the one in the white pants)
