Our air filter element is comprised of a heavy duty cotton gauze layout which makes it washable and reusable. The filters consist of five sheets of cotton gauze layered between two sheets of aluminum wire mesh. The surface area is then pleated and oiled to enhance its filtering ability and performance. With a flow rating of 1000cfm and a built-in velocity stack at it's base, the filters flow over 4 times as much air as the conventional factory paper air filter. With all these attributes, you're left with a filter that allows significantly more air into your engine, is washable and reusable, and will protect your engine for the life of your vehicle. Keep in mind all XLR8 filters are backed with a lifetime warranty.
We will not sell an air intake system that does not provide a substantial increase in horsepower, torque, and gas mileage.
