Form Follows Failure

Form Follows Failure formed in the fall of 2000 on the streets of st. louis. it started out being a not so serious band, just a continuation of four musicians loving punk music and wanting to play it. with the addition of derrick in the summer of 2002, the band became more serious and more dedicated and decided to take their dream of playing music for the rest of their lives seriously. with the addition of matt in april of 2003, FFF was finally consolidated and booked their own summer tour. the tour proved successful in the fact that all members didnt kill each other, but the band played too many bar shows and looked to play to all ages crowds that winter. on the way to the first show of the winter tour, FFF's van broke down, and their trailer with all their gear was subsequently stolen. FFF hopes that 2004 will be a little kinder to the band, and hopefully be able to tour again as soon as possible.Even though the hardship of having their trailer and gear stolen subsequently ended the band, they haven't given up their musical endeavors. Guitarist Derrick is currently writing and recording arsenals of songs in his solo project entitled "Festival". Anyone Familiar with Derrick's talent knows these are sure to be highly anticipated.Matt spent a brief tenure as lead guitar player for Takeover/Fearless Records act 'Near Miss', until he decided it wasn't the right path for his life to take. He is currently preparing to move to New Zealand to finish school.Jevin moved on to play drums in Nitro Records band 'Much the Same' and they are currently on tour worldwide in support of their stellar sophomore record "Survive"Josh is currently playing bass in Chicago hardcore band 'Break the Silence'.
