Book # 2: Oceanfree (poetry)
Book # 3: Black Men & Women
I WOULD LOVE TO MEET PEOPLE WHO ARE REAL ABOUT MAKING SOME SERIOUS CHANGES...IF YOU JUST TALK ABOUT IT I DO NOT NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE A FAKER! WE NEED THE TRU SOLDIERS!
I would like to set up a Place, Time for all Brown Skinned Authors to get together around the GLOBE. Many have said it can not be done. I am here to show you I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!
What I seek in a MAN?
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive. It does not interest me what planets are swirling around your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow if you have been opened by lifes betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. I want to know if you can sit with pain; mine, yours, and without moving to hide it, fade it, or fix it.
I want to know if you be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic or to remember the limitations of being human.
I want to know if you will disappoint another to be true to yourself if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore be trustworthy.
He studies his deen to point of when I fall astray he has the power to tell me Baby, you are off track. Without having to worry about an attitude behind his direction. You see that is what I seek. A man who can not only talk the deen but walk the deen show me the unseen.
"Allah created woman 4 man...Allah never intended 4 a woman 2 have 2 be in this world alone. No matter how strong a woman appears 2b or what material things she may possess...She needs U. She needs your strength, your covering...
U R meant 2B her spiritual head, her provider, her protector. Your presence and commitment give her a peace, comfort and security that she can’t find anywhere else. No matter what success or failure U have experienced...No matter what is in your bank acct...God has equipped U w/everything u need to make a woman happy & satisfied (and I don’t mean what’s between your legs). All she truly wants is your unconditional love.... Black MEN STAND UP take your position!
