About Me

MyGen Profile Generator

I'm a contemporary American oil painter working in the style of Romantic Realism. My work tends to be a fusion of 19th century, British romantic aesthetics and technique and 20th century objectivist ethics.

I love both that which is rational and that which is whimsical. My work combines both of these preferences, as well as addresses them separately. The main theme that I strive to present in my work is beauty in all its forms, according to my own preferences and sensibilities. Beauty, and art that isolates and presents it triumphantly, needs no further reason for being. Beauty is beauty. Good is good. Simplicity.
