Originally from Pittsburgh Pa(Mt Lebanon), have lived in Dallas since 86. Very close with my family. My parents, myself and my two brothers all live within a mile of each other. Have two dogs, Freethrow my Golden Retriever, Peanut, my mutt and Usless my cat. Love Love Love animals. Avid runner, have run 8 marathons(White Rock Marathon twice, Pittsburgh Marathon twice, Marine Corps Marathon twice, SanFrancisco Marathon,NYC Marathon) and done two triatholons. My parents are retired. My father had an auto customizing shop in Pittsburgh for 50 years and is a Naval( Seabee)WWII vet and Korean War Vet. My mom sold real esate. My older brother owns the Mavs, My younger brother works for a company called HDnet. I am proud of my whole family and their accomplishments in their lives. They are all my heroes. I play the piano. I recently discovered that I had distant relatives who died in concentration camps during the Holocaust. I am trying to identify them and be sure they are registered the Holocaust Museum in D.C. I love to travel and have been fortunate in getting to travel many places in the world although there is still a lot I want to see. I am also an investor in a great restaurant in Dallas called Tijuana Bar and Grill which is located on McKinney and Monticello across from the corner Bar.I serve on the Board of the Dallas Mavericks Foundation and am the Executive Director of the Fallen Patriot Fund which provides grants to familes of soldiers in need who have either been seriously injured or killed in combat Operation Iraqi Freedom. We have distributed over 1.6 million dollars to families in need to date I guess the only other thing is that while I dont consider myself as a vegitarian, I dont eat anyting that said "moo" while it was alive.I do a lot of blogging and bulletin writing on various topics. That is kind of like walking up to a total strangers house and asking to borrow his car. Also- I am an attorney NOT a venture capitalist. I am here to write my blog, meet new people and support the Mavs. I am NOT here to evaluate business ideas. I am sure your "self-wiping toilet" is going to make you a million but Im not interested(I know having to say all this stuff seems weird but I DO get those messages and I end up being the bad guy when I respond in the negative or not at all. If you have no interest in sometimes controversial viewpoints on different subjects other than the coolest comment on your page, it is a certainty that my writing will offend your sensibilities at some point so best not to come on board.....
