Skate Cuba Libre

Skate Cuba Libre seeks to build international bridges through art and sport and shed light on Cubas invisible youth and skate cultures. We will help promote, celebrate and expand on the first historic skate park currently being built in Habana. SCL does not seek to work via large corporate bodies yet instead to function as an Art/Documentary/Charity project with minimal corporate advertising to raise awareness and promote Cuban and European talent via an art/photography exhibition in 2008. Upcoming and established graffiti artists, photographers, graphic designers and the likes from both Habana and London will be invited to create and donate a piece of art so WATCH THIS SPACE for a brief peoples!! A documentary is also planned and we hope to help stage and televise a skate event in Habana with skaters both famous and from the streets of Cuba.
