Born in Tel Aviv in 1976, he started composing music since early age. The profound interest towards electronic music was developed later and the pursuit for the experimental and minimalism leads him to Berlin in 2003, where his interest focuses on this exact scene.
Working mainly with analog instruments and in his “own analog way†of composing, lacking rhythm and melody while layering the sounds and intensifying the soundscapes, reviles his view of the essentiality of the “Sounds†themselves in the composition.
This view and early works, lead to the first collaboration with Gal Tushia, former of Teder Music label (together with David Ovadia), creating an interaction between music and video art for Gal´s “RGB†serious of videos.
His growing interest of combining music with other forms of art creation, leads directly to his first studio album: DOT. Created originally to accompany the DOT installation (a unique mix of design and photography installation, created by a group of Rome based artists), the “DOT†music is also capable of standing alone: an intense electronic soundscape, constructed to define a vibe in a closed space, becomes an abstract environment itself.
His latest release, Minimalismus, together with the musician Jean Marc Caimi, is a serious of compositions for piano and analog synthesizers. An album that brings us into a world of sonic soundscapes that ranges from sweet diluted atmospheres to melancholic dark drones.
