Mammooth

Mammooth is a crew of musicians and producers based in Rome, Italy.
Since 1997 it has been working with theatre, cinema and television creating soundtracks and collaborating with many artists.
Mammoth is seeking for a new concept of homemade recordings from the composition to the post production with particular attention to the style and the sound design.
We are not avant garde but we wish to explore the “dark sides” of the most popular music genres: blues, hard rock, psychedelia, kraut rock, electronic mixed together in improvised jams or complex songs with a progressive soul.
We are looking for collaboration with other musicians, with djs, producers, video makers, designers, photographers as we believe the crossover of styles, cultures and ideas is the best way for the music to survive as an expressive art and not to become a “fade product”.
Mammooth hopes to reach all of you with its music, to tell you a story or most simply to bring you to a different place.
