OSkoolMa has been writing and performing poetic hip-hop music since 1988. My love for hip-hop, blood related and won't leave me along. I have been involved in talent shows, open mic's, and working as a television production person;however, my poetry runs deep like da snare's bumping against tho ear. Knowing da goodness of da merciful, we are all blessed to be here creating together. We all make mistakes, In 1999 I was working as a production assistant and due to the lateness of an artist, I had the pleasure of opening for NoLimit at the Pontiac Silverdom (that was da shit). Not having a beat nor being a known artist, I can honestly say, I got some luv and hate. My lesson learned was to connect with the right producer. From me to you, connect with someone who is feeling your music as much as you are, keeping you strapped wit da tightest beats. Without the wisdom to control our hormones from the mental, physical, spiritual metamorphosis; causing blindness when consciousness is the key to overstanding.
