RIPLAK, a man of many thoughts. Strong intensity through his words, he speaks with truth and passion. Known to snap at any givin moment, even his closest caution their next words while speaking to him. Even worse, when snapped, RIPLAK is unpredictable on how he takes it out. A very dangerous competitor when mixed with alcoholic beverages. The unsteady childhood drove him to the brink, but the murder of his mother by her best friend in the 8th grade set the way for his violent thoughts. Trust was never high before that due to betrayal beforehand, but this event of murder drove him to the point of no return as a matter of trust being ripped away. Was justice served? NO! The murderer got off with only 5 years PROBATION! This is when RIPLAK made the choice to go against the law and the court systems as a whole. As for the way he handled this, he swore himself to never let himself get addicted to drugs because he would never want to live the way his mother did. This would turn into heavy drinking, and situation after stiuation which would lead him into many violent thoughts. Although he had several thoughts like this, he managed to look past them most of the time and thought about his family. He couldn't do that to them. So after almost a lifetime of writing and failed bands, he would turn to rap. Rap was a love for him his whole life due to artists his 2 older brothers had introduced to him. Not knowing what this rap game was like first hand, he released his first solo album, 'A Curse Called Trust', which describes his life in itself. The album was a huge success and touched all kinds of people who could relate to it. Moving on to the next hit cd, 'From Out Of Nowhere', which featured many artists. Hittin' the stage, out of country radio play, beefin' with several people, and keepin' up his stress filled life, he will now be releasing a mixtape with around 20 other artists featuring on it, 'This Couldn't Be Easier'. Staying on his grind, RIPLAK could very well be the focused artist to put Iowa on the map for good. Enjoy.
