About Me

"I can't describe myself,but if you talk to me for one night,you'll find what's on my mind..."Starting out as a fanzine for an Indonesian Anarcho Hardcore/Punk scene and a Black Bloc Movement,featuring articles,interviews and some reviews of local acts. The first issues was published in 2003 in Jakarta.It was one folded sheet of paper making up 44 xeroxed pages of hand-rubbed LetraSet headlines, grainy photos rubber cemented into postition and copy banged out on a worn out Royal typewriter. TIGAMARTIL MENGGUGAT started life as a fanzine to promote the music of the Hardcore/Punk band and some ideas from Anti-Authoritarian Front, but it also covered the Crust Grind/Core and Classic Rock scene. Diansyah and Bekti put out two issues. We continued to cover the rest of the local scene and eventually found ourselves deluged with requests from local bands and other fanzines to give them coverage. TIGAMARTIL MENGGUGAT ZINE was officially registered as a D.I.Y Fanzine in local underground scene and we started having runs of one or two hundred printed up two times a year.
