No matter what happens, keep it funky!!!!

About Me

I was born in 1977 in north Italy, raised with Jimi Hendrix for breakfast and all that funky sounds in my ears, a crazy family around me and the best brew in europe (Forst beer), soon enough i fell in love with music. I've tryed to become a professional basketball player, a professional skater, a playboy, a mountainbike champion , an exchange student in the states and the worst high school student in the world. The only thing I could manage to become was the worst student, so I've started to play drums at the (late) age of 17. Since then I haven't done anything else, playing with a hell lot of bands, doing an insane amount of studio sessions and emptying almost every backstage fridge in Europe from Palermo to Hannover. After gigging a fair amount of years on the local italian music scene with different bands including "Mind the GaB", Mosquito Threat (I'll come back to this later) and Stone Free, a Jimi Hendrix revival band with my father Mike and our friend Fredy... I've moved to Vienna in 2001 where I met a bunch of extraordinary people and musicians. Playing with Big Bon Jou and "Zuka", properly kicking ass on the small but tasteful viennese and austrian music circuit and working in recording studios for bands and broadcast I've spent there 3 fantastic years. But at some point I needed a change. My good friend Andrea, songwriter, singer and guitarist of M.T. lived in London at the time, so I've decided to buy a Ryan Airticket and join him. And here I've met another bunch of great people and musicians, started a band with Andrea and Tim, now called BallaLouda and we partying the groovy town on the Thames. We've built our own studio in our house and we are trying to get famous, rich and influential enough to tell Paris Hilton to shut the fuck up and retire from the scenes! I'm working on my own KenGouru stuff as well!!!! Everything you hear from Kengouru is recorded and played by myself, no samples, no editing, just instruments and other utensils, on multitrack and a bit of compression! That's it... enjoy! So, ladies and gentleman, this is the short version of my last 12 years. If you want to hear the whole bloody story, buy a good bottle of wine and come to say hello! I'll cook for you. keep it funky love eric I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
