What's goin' on everyone???-- I am a 28 year old fun yet sarcastic LEO who likes to be the center of attention in everything so says my bud Matt. I am a very outgoing person. I have no clue where I get it from but it's a great personality trait to have for the most part.
I'm Originally from Hartford, Connecticutt. During my younger years, I moved to Minneapolis, MN then to Bloomington and back to Minneapolis. I live Midtown and I must say that I am in love with being back in the city!
So...what do I do for a living/fun? Well, I am a professional impersonator/dancer for Hey Sugar Productions.- www.heysugarproductions.com and Soul2Sole Dance Conversion. We're a traveling dance company that specializes in huge corporate events,backup dancing for major artists, club performances, national/international fashion and hair shows.
During the school year, I work with 2 genres of performance activity. One, I currently work with middle school and elementary kids in an after-school program that includes show choir and dance. The Colin Powell Center of the Arts/Christo Rey Jesuit school allows me to teach what I know best, performance. These kids are an amazing performance group that exudes energy and talent. I've been there for 1 year now and I love every minute of working with these kids. Two, I am also the head coach of a 3-year state championship competition cheer team @ The Academy of Holy Angels. I've been working with AHA for 5 years as an assistant coach. Now in my 7th year and as the head for the 2008-2009 season, I'm ready to coach them to another victory. I'm blessed to work with both schools and the students. Although they are on the opposite sides of the spectrum, they have the same heart, talent, dedication, and leadership that some schools can't achieve.
Adding to my history of teaching and coaching, I've been a freelance choreographer for some years now. I have choreographed for many other jrhs/hs musicals, professional shows, show choirs & cheer/dance teams in Mn. I have also co-choreographed for St. Olaf College's Hip-Hop Club. In 2005, I produced, cast and choreographed my first dance show entitled, "Hollywood". I have also held numerous summer dance, show choir and arts clinics for the students @ Delasalle HS, International School of Minnesota and Bethel College.
In my spare time, I am a local freelance dancer, actor, singer/songwriter and musician. I've performed in many venues in the metro area from the "Loring Playhouse" to "Patrick's Caberet". Performance credits also include: backup dancing for "The Capone All-Stars" and 80's popstar, "Taylor Dayne". I'm also a sucker for Karaoke and Karaoke contests. It's truly my weakness!
Oh, did I forget to mention that back in the day I was in a local boyband?....yeah....about that....There were 5 of us (The typical formula for a boyband) and we were first called "B-Real". Then, we had to get real and change our name to "Reality" which we had definitely received a dose of later on. That legacy will live on to wherever it shall end up...or something. Whatever, this experience has given me a chance of a lifetime to perform for "Monifah", "Maxi Priest" and sing with country star,"Shania Twain".
I like to work out at least 3-4 times a week to make sure my body is intact. I mean after all, I'm 27 and It's about that time to continue and make major improvements on my body.
One more thing, I am the king of baaaaaaaaaaaad jokes. If you wanna hear them, I'm your man( They don't make much sense...but it's cool.)!
All in all, I am a crazy, fun-loving person who likes to have a good time, meet awesome people and just live life to the fullest!
