My fav thing to do is RAWK out with my band NERVE. We have been and will continue to be really busy gigging all over Ontario and writing/recording ass kicking RAWK! A new EP will hit shelves in summer 2008. "The Tragedy: Part I" will kick serious ass and contains the heaviest tuneage we've done to date...hell yeah! Part II will drop in early 2009 and will solidify our statement that NERVE is... THE EVOLUTION OF RAWK!!!
In my off time I enjoy chilling at home with my beautiful 'wife' Jewelz (who I've been living with for 8 yrs so in our eyes, we're already married) & spending time with our lil' girl Chloe. They are my life and I miss them so much when I'm on the road gigging. Jewelz is also NERVE's manager and runs Rock Dollz Entertainment. She is such a great support to the band and she's my best friend.
You name it! Metal, punk, rock, experimental, trip-hop, classic rock, etc. If it has feeling, it doesn't matter. Some of my favorites are, in no particular order: Tool, NoMeansNo, The Refused, Fugazi, Butthole Surfers, Clutch, Bionic, Archers of Loaf, Faith No More, Failure, Girls Against Boys, Jesus Lizard, Helmet, Kyuss, System Of A Down, Rocket From The Crypt, Mr.Bungle, Rage Against The Machine, NOFX, The End, AOF, Otep, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Rise Against, Mudvayne, Deftones, Everytime I Die, Poison The Well, Cancer Bats, Cursed!, Thrice, Mastodon, Alpha Galates, Gallows, Meshugga, old hardcore/punk, all forms of metal from the early days to now, funk, trip hop, good old rock n' roll and all of the indie bands I've played with that stand true to themselves, play with passion, try to break musical barriers and don't conform to the 'corporate standard cookie-cutter same old bullshit' crap I hear on the radio every day (aka Theory of a Defaulted Nickleback) ...horns up to you! The conformers... well they can kiss my ass!!!
Thrillers, horrors and thought-provoking films like Pi and Cube. Independent critically acclaimed stuff.
I'm a sucker for Everyone Loves Raymond - I have to watch the re-runs every night! CSI, Law and Order, that kind of thing. Other than that...not much.
I don't have time to read a book, I'm either working, jamming, developing multimedia on the computer or hanging with my girls. I read magazines when I can. But, I have read all the Stephen King books, when I was younger.
My bandmates and best friends, Ki & Jason, for putting up with my shit and believing as I do in what we deliver to the Canadian independant music scene. I have the best rhythm section on the planet! Cheers fellas!!!
