The JDKz

The J.D.K.'z formed in November 1993 in Simi Valley,Ca.The J.D.K'z first stood for "Jeffrey Dahmer's Kitchen",but eventually just became "The J.D.K.'z" The first time they played live would be on friday March 13th 1995 at a house party.After splitting with their first drummer,they asked Dave Frye who had just quit "Wicked Faith"(a speed metal band) to join.In early 1996 Brian Anderson hopped on bass & Hare left for film school.Hare would rejoin with The J.D.K.'z many years later.1997-1998 saw Pete Ludeking take over vocals while Schwartz went back to guitar.During this time The J.D.K'z sometimes went by the name's "The VIOLENT YEARS" & "SCAM THIRTEEN". The J.D.K'z went into seclusion for the next few years while Schwartz played guitar in many different bands.In 2003 they did a quick demo with a very small budget."Going Down"& "I Know Why" are 2 of the 10 tracks they recorded.Another track "Sorry" will be featured on the "RECORD'S ON TAP" comp (May 2008) with some real kick ass punk bands.Another comp release will be out on CHOKING HAZARD RECORDS.Shows coming soon!!!
