JUSTIFIED CAUSE formed in 1988 in Simi Valley,CA,a suburb of Los Angeles.JC started out playing mostly backyard party's in front of huge crowds of skaters,surfers, and jocks.In 1989 JC recorded their infamous "When Tragedy Strikes" demo at the Casbah in Fullerton,ca with the late great Chaz Ramirez.Ramirez had engineered Social Distortion's "Mommy's Little Monster" & "Prison Bound",which were favorites of the band.A few months after completing recording,JC sold, and or gave out about 1,500 copies of "When Tragedy Strikes". Justified Cause Were:Marc Warren(voice),Rob Ramos(guitar),Mike Schwartz(guitar),James Duncan(drums),& Richard Louis(bass).Ramos left the band in 1991 to form STRUNG OUT with Jim Cherry.STRUNG OUT & JC played together numerous times before JC faded away in 1993, just as STRUNG OUT was rising in their ranks. Cherry played with JC after Ramos left until around 1992. JC wouldn't gig again until 1998, when they jammed out at a couple of local bars & house party's.Another 3 year hiatus stumped JC until 2001 when they played their last show to date w/Dr Know, and UXA.Over the years,members of JC have gone on to form,and play in many different bands.2010 will see the first release from JC in over 12 years!Stay tuned...
