I smile because it feels good and it is an easy way to make others feel good too. When I was a little girl someone asked me..."what do you want to be when you grow up?", my response, "happy". I have supportive and creative friends who I feel blessed to have found and kept. I love and I am loved...I am happy even on the days when I forget it! I try count my blessings even on the bad days, (because let's face it we all have them) and I hope to always remain greatful! Who knew I would be able to live up to the self-fulfilling prophecy of a five year old. Journey on.

Music:

Anything that moves me mentally and/or that makes me want to move physically.

Movies:

The Princess Bride... because it is a silly fairy tale. The Wizard of OZ...because it was fun to watch every year with the family. Dr. Zavago...not only because I was named after the character, but because it is a beautifully done clasic. Amelie...because it reminded me to be brave and playful. Pay It forward... because I believe we should.

Television:

Crime show dramas... because I get lost in the stories. The emotion is intense, the insanity is a reminder that not everyone is sane, and the science is amazing.

Books:

The Little Prince, The World Atlas, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, The Mastery of Love, The Harry Potter books, and Fear of Flying. I love it when a book inspires pictures in my mind that accompany the authors words... it is a good book when I can't put it down.

Heroes:

Those who push themselves to learn and grow. Those who give. Those who create.Those who live their dreams, hell those who realize their dreams.
