About Me

I am 27 years old. I live in Dalzell SC with my husband Kevin Jarvis and our cat (child) Luna. We have also just adopted two wonderful children. A beautiful baby boy named Martin and a hyper little girl named Gypsy. The vet says they are two of the healthiest dogs to ever come from the SPCA. We were also just recently blessed with another new addition a hamster named Oreo. It is a really long story, but he is healthy, happy, and has two cages connected by tunnels that he runs around in all night and honestly watching him is better than TV.

No kids for us we are happy with our family the way it is and honestly the world is over populated and we kinda figure Soylent Green is people. So if we ever want one we will take one of the unwanted ones. You people really need to stop reproducing.
I have an overactive imagination which makes me fun in the middle of the night when you want to give somebody a scare.
I am a creative person who has to have an outlet or I will bust. My outlets are usually writing(I write childrens stuff), singing(I was born to rock ), drama(drama queen), and helping my husband with his music career.
My husband is in a progressive rock band called Farpoint. So for any of you women married to men who are musically inclined and in a band you know that all you need to do is add a cup of water, mix, and bake at 350. Then I am a singer, songwriter, producer, photographer, art director, lighting technician, costume designer, sound man, roadie, caterer, booking agent, manager, stage hand, bouncer, number one fan, and well... groupie.
I have been teaching but hate it so I am doing alot of soul searching and will probably end up back in college to get a degree in acting which is what I started to do to begin with. I work as a an administrative assistant at Sumter Little Theatre here in Sumter, S.C. and absolutely love my job. I get to do a little bit of everything from graphic design for advertisement, stage manage, head off fund raising programs, and act in plays. I was just recently even able to be in a movie. How cool is that?

You Are The Moon
You represent the unconscious side of life, what happens in dreams.
You are capable of great genius - but also of great madness.
Emotions tend to be primal for you, both your fears and your fantasies.
Your intuition is always right, listening to it is the difficult part.
Your fortune:
You are about to embark on a very important journey - and a very difficult one.
Some of your deepest dreams will be realized, as well as some of your deepest nightmares.
Follow your creativity and visions; stay away from your weaknesses.
You are taking a voyage to the center of yourself, and you may be pleasantly surprised by what you discover. What Tarot Card Are You?

My Interests

Movies, Music, Books, Theater, Video Games, Changing My Hair Color, and Live Concerts
I have been to over 90 concerts and they just keep coming.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people who share my positive attitude in life and my love for anything creative.
I will always wish I could have met Jim Henson. He was one of the most creative people in TV and film. True art is never appreciated enough.

I have a serious love for animals. I have great respect for animal shelter workers and volunteers because even in no-kill shelters they have the hard job of seeing how cruel humanity can be at times. Thankfully however they also can learn a great lesson from our furry friends who triumph over their past.

Music:

Well we all know that we judge each other by the music we listen to. So, I will not hold anything back in naming my musical heroes.
Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelen, Seal, LIVE, Kansas, Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots, Journey, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Happy Rhodes, Magenta, Gentle Giant, Queensryche, Queen, Dolly Parton, Seven Nations, David Bowie, U2, Mike Oldfield, Evanescence, TSO, 3, and lots more.
Last but not least...

Movies:

This is the subject where most people who know me roll their eyes... I LOVE movies. I am a movie buff. So to name them all I would take up more room than I have space so I will name my favorite movie of all time first and the top five-ten of my favorites from each genre.
My favorite movie of all time is... Labyrinth. I just can't describe the emotions tied up in this movie.
Horror/Scary: The Exorcist, The Ring, The Others, Session 9, Jaws, Aliens, Poltergeist, Bram Stokers Dracula, The Sixth Sense, The Stand, Underworld, and Signs.
Sci-Fi/Fantasy: Serenity, Dark Crystal, Legend, LOTR, Star Wars, Star Trek Next Generation, The Last Unicorn, Princess Bride, Equlibrium, MirrorMask, Fifth Element, Willow, Never Ending Story, Harry Potter movies, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Planet of the Apes, and Soylent Green.
Comedy: O Brother Where Art Thou, Shaun of the Dead, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Pink Panther (original Peter Sellers stuff), Miss Congeniality, Turner and Hooch, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Oscar.
Action/Thriller(Some of these cross over into other genres I know): Die Hard, Predator, Terminator, Brotherhood of the Wolf, The Postman, The Crow, Indiana Jones movies, Memento, Batman, X-Men, Reign of Fire
Romance: Say Anything, French Kiss, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, When Harry Met Sally, You've Got Mail
For the most part though I like movies that make me think. I like mind games. I like witty dialogue and movies that make you want to think about them days after you see them.

Television:

Not much of a television fan but here are some of the shows I got hooked on.
X-Files, Star Trek Next Generation, 24, WonderFalls (you soooooo need to Netflix this show), Carnivale, Friday the 13th series, Earth 2, Gargoyles, Thundercats, He-man, Magnum PI, Firefly, Mystery Science Theater, Hellsing, The Muppet Show

Books:

Ok the usual Authors:
Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Poppy Z. Brite, Robert Jordan, Ray Bradbury, Maurice Sendak, Charles deLint, Clive Barker, C. S. Lewis, Tolkein, Edgar Allen Poe, Charlaine Harris, Sookie Stackhouse Rocks!!!!!
I love children's books and anything scary.
