About Me

I'm just me. I'm bubbly and extroverted, something which has helped me tremendously in the various retail positions I have held and will hopefully continue to help me once I become a teacher. I try my best to take everything in stride, even when it feels like the world is against me, whilch does happen from time to time. My favorite things to do are sing, dance, and talk. I'm fiercely passionate about the things I believe in and the people I love. I'm at a weird point in my life right now where I'm reevaluating the path I'm on and what it is I truly want to dedicate my life to. After going for so long with a single goal in mind, its been strange to suddenly find myself without direction, but I'd rather be figuring this out while I'm young than spend a good potion of my life doing something I don't really care about.

My Interests

Singing, acting, dancing (swing (east and west coast), salsa, tango, foxtrot, waltz, cha-cha), talking, listening, reading, writing, playing Guild Wars until odd hours of the morning.

Music:

Music is my passion. There is no genre that I don't at least like a few artists from, and very rarely will I hear something I can't stand. That said, my favorite type of music is rock, my favorite song is Somewhere In Between by Lifehouse, and my favorite artists include Evanescence, Incubus, The Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eagles, The Beatles, Lifehouse, Kelly Clarkson, Evergrey, Default, Memento, Audioslave, Dream Theater, and Fleetwood Mac.

Noteworthy musicians I have seen perform: Dave Matthews Band, Paul McCartney, Evanescence, Nickel Creek, Default, Lifehouse, Mariah Carey, Coheed & Cambria, Muse, Foo Fighters, Dream Theater, Incubus, Nickelback, and the B-52s.

Movies:

Moulin Rouge, The Matrix (just the first 2), What Dreams May Come, Star Wars, The Mothman Prophecies, The Butterfly Effect, Pirates of the Caribbean, Death to Smoochy, V for Vendetta, Hot Fuzz

Television:

Don't really watch TV, but I do love shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and The Daily Show. I managed to get myself addicted to CSI too. I love the geeky chemistry stuff.

Books:

Mystery novels, but Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert is my favorite book.
