Though regarded by many in the Capital District as an "urban legend" built on superstition and fear of the city’s darkened streets, STREETSWEEPER knows all too well the cold, hard realities to which many choose to turn a blind eye, including local law enforcement. STREETSWEEPER has spent their career in pursuit of physical and mental perfection in order to wage unrelenting war on crime. Watching over Troy’s streets from its gargoyles and parapets, STREETSWEEPER is the city’s last best hope against evil. And it is this obsession that drives STREETSWEEPER, for they have vowed that no innocent should suffer the pain others have endured. People say STREETSWEEPER is a dark, vengeance-driven, obsessed band. STREESWEEPER keep their identities secret in order to work freely outside the law and to strike fear in the hearts of lawbreakers.
