The L&L All Stars

NOW: We are the Polymer Twins

About Me

Jim & Michael reaquainting over a few PBRs at the L&L Tavern, burst into song, an a cappella rendition of "Won't You Try/Saturday Afternoon" by J. Airplane. Later, they're approached by one of the bartenders, who had told a patron looking for a band: "There's a lot of famous (infamous) musicians hanging out in here". We meet, we're offered a gig at a junior high graduation. Laughing at the absurdity of that (but not the money), we accept, and enlist Col. Doug Taylor on bass, and a drummer he'd been working with. The "gig" falls through, but we are by now enjoying ourselves so much that we decide to explore the possibilities in earnest. We bring in old pals Frank Raven on sax & harp, and Tony Dale on drums. We've since had more drummers than "Spinal Tap", Frank and Doug have moved on, but found new life with bassist Carl Pedigo and "The Doctor" on drums. Everyone in the band is a songwriter and everyone sings.****************************************************** ************* The L&L All Stars are over. Done. Fini. We had a great ride since 1998! The Phoenix rising from the ashes is called: " The Polymer Twins". Michael Evon and The Doctor are moving forward with new bass player, "Nick Nick" and will perform as a trio... unless we find a keyboard and/or a sax player to come aboard. (some vocal ability would be nice... hint, hint) The new profile is up and running (see our "Top Friends"). We'll keep this one up for our fans... and Thank You for your support!**************************************************** *************** ************************************************************ *******I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
