Juleea

"Juleea" also known as Julia Bodden Fraoley grew up in a large family in St. Albans, Queens. As a child she can remember first tape recorder her dad bought for Christmas. That Christmas sparked the beginning of her "recording career". As a child she and her sisters created songs and stories that would get them through the difficult times. "Music is so healing". Juleea went on to sing with such gospel choirs as the St. Pascal Baylon Gospel Singers and St. Greagory Ensemble where she developed her ear for harmony. She can be heard singing background on several artist's CDs: Father Stan Fortuna, Tom Humburt, Deborah Dotson, and the blues artist Frankie Paris. Juleea's love for music transends the studio. As a teacher and choir director she reaches out to the students and shares her faith stories. "Music is an avenue to spread the important message of peace."
