Yellowstone is home

About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Mountain Landscape

I've just finished my Bachelor's of Science in Geology at the University of Wyoming. Hooray! Finally! It only took a total of 15 semesters at 3 different universities! So now I've applied for grad school, at University of Montana in Missoula, Montana State University~Bozeman, and University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, so I'm not-so-patiently waiting to hear from them.I've been working in Yellowstone National Park most of the time since I was eighteen (except for when I was in school), so the park is home. I was at Old Faithful this winter, working at the Snowlodge, volunteering for the Visitor's Center on my days off helping with geyser predict.I'm a geyser geek. I'm also geeky in many other ways. For this coming summer, I'll be at Roosevelt Lodge. Dream career would be to be park geologist, but that will require getting that phd, and I'm not sure if the current park geologist will be ready to retire by then. Or if I'm going to be able to get into a grad school that has funding for me! Arrrrgghhhh!I've lived all over. I was born in Wallsend, England. Although I'm half Scottish and not English! We moved to the States when I was only a year old. Some people think I have an accent. I've lived in: Lawrence, Kansas; Iowa City, Iowa; San Diego, California; Annapolis, Maryland; Las Vegas, Nevada; Provo, Utah; Reno, Nevada; Gardiner, Montana; Laramie, Wyoming, and of course, Yellowstone National Park.Myspace Backgrounds
