The Visitors

Gigging in the West... Keep Looking...

About Me

The Visitors were born in Bridgwater 1998 AD. With no family to speak of, the band was left orphaned amidst the evils of a small post-industrial town. Taking its first steps on the circuit of working men's bars, pubs and gin-and-neon nightclubs, the Visitors' staple diet was a motivating force of unemployment, alcoholism and dire poverty. On this heady mixture of social apathy and carbohydrate, the band quickly grew to adulthood, blossoming into a glorious form of ex-teacher, ex-journalist, ex-kitchen salesman and The Most Dangerous Man in Somerset. For a while it courted with love, with sex, with drink, with obsession, then, with the release of its first CD; Flying to the Ocean Floor, the band acquired a more poetic experimental edge. This coincided with an expansion in performance venues as far and remote as Prague and Dartmoor Jail, now fully contrite and out on bail, The Visitors then recorded their second CD; Moving Darkly. Now, with a rawer edge and one of there tracks, "Down to the Sea" released by 25 Records, the Visitors began their latest project; Post Industrial Dark. It's is out now released on the DIY label Midnight Mango!!!
