Linda Angkasa started her piano lesson at the age of seven. In Medan, Linda was a first prizewinner of the Yamaha National Competition X in 1995 and first prizewinner of the 50th year anniversary of Lembaga Musik Murni in 2000. In Medan, Linda was also actively performed in the school concerts.After Graduate from Lembaga Music Murni in 2001, Linda was accepted in Yong Siew Toh Consevatory of Music with full scholarship in 2003. In YST Consevatory of Music, Linda was actively participated in School Performances such as Noon Recital, Primarily Piano, Concerto Extravaganza and Piano Duels. Linda has performed in masterclasses presented by international concert artists such as Pascal Roge, Marian Hahn, Erik Etawasts, Sa Chen etc. She took part in Singapore Piano and Violin National Competition in 2005 and was one of the semi finalists.Linda has been placed on the Dean’s List for her outstanding achievements for the past four semesters. Linda attended a summer festival in Dong Hai University in Taiwan in 2006 and studied with Marian Hahn and Logan Skelton. Linda just graduated from YST Conservatory of Music in July 2007 with First class of honours, Bachelor of Music. Her teacher in Singapore includes Albert Tiu and Thomas Hecht.Linda received a full scholarship from YST Conservatory to Peabody institute to continue her graduate studies in Peabody institute this fall 2007. in Peabody, she will be studying under Marian Hahn.
