I do love Jazz...was converted from perceiving it as self-indulgent crap to the amazing music that it can be. I love fusion of jazz/funk/soul sometimes combined with hip-hop/beats and any combination there-of....If I can move to it and it is interesting melodically/harmonically I am there! I enjoy a night out dancing to live music with friends. Fave Bris bands for this purpose: Kafka, Hipakushaand various other bands found at fave hangouts. Fave hangouts for this purpose: Bowery and Press Club on Wed or sun nights. though haven't done so in ages...been discovering different scenes. I enjoy a boogie @ the Depot and Rics(institution!) My parents began taking me along to the movies before I could talk...I haven't stopped watching since. there are too many to name, or to aptly illustrate the breadth of my taste..so here's a cross-section... current favourites/films of interest: Secretary, Morven Callar, Rashamon, Raising Arizona, American Splendor, Little Women(Gillian Armstrong version), Solo, Look Both Ways, Over the hedge(yes, Bruce Willis as a Raccoon will do it 4 me everytime..& I found this genuinely funny!) the caterpiller wish...plus hundreds more!
