about me? it's all about "you" and music.
I'm addicted to music & people and i love to see them dance to the music i spin. Being a resident dj at Korsakoff (Amsterdam, Netherlands) for 18 years now, last 5 years for two days a week and in busy times, like holidays it..s, with other parties up to 5 times a week. I probably die while listening to music.
My first attempt was when I was about 14 with some tapedecks at friends parties. I'm the shy-type who needs to be busy at parties, so I started to put on songs once in a while...
in 1986 I helped starting a "alternative" club, called Korsakoff and was asked to spin every week. For now, I wouldn't know what to do without it.
I also helped starting the "Inrichting" , what became the the most popular, monthly, alternative/ gothic/ wave-party for 10 years in the Netherlands.
meanwhile I helped out starting up more parties and bars.
And, ofcourse I wanted to work in them! meeting people and spin music for them became my life.
I've also been bartender for 22 years and always was lucky to play the tunes myself and to pleasure other people..s ears and minds.
Over the years I've played and worked at so many parties and bars, I really can't remember them all, but to throw some names: De Muur, Korsakoff , " de Inrichting" , Soundgarden, CRNA RUZA, Cave of Satyr , Medusa , Mordor , Gothoord (resident also), Legendz, Styx, Epicentre , The Search for the Black Pearl (a 2 day Boat trip,) Terminal @ M.S. Stubnitz Melkweg , Dominion(Dublin) , Nostalgia and more... lots more....
mostly Gothic/Industrial parties but once in a while I like to throw a 80's, alternative rock, even rock'n'roll or other fun-themed party, such as corny 80's, just coversongs, female-singer, Halloween or "my style" X-mas and carnaval. Just for the fun of it, these nights are really fun to do.

Unlucky in love?
I'm probably searching for something I can never have but I still try to find my way to the next place to find out what's happening there.
