Paul is very much a legend in the Music World.
Born in North London, but spent most of his childhood in Gloucester.
An keen sportsman with a passion for football, played for Charlton youth, Tottenham youth and Middlesex County and run for Haringey athletics.
He used to dance in the pre-mixing days, and still does in the box, he hurdle over the decks, boogie down and jump back in, just in time to cue the next record.
Paul started of playing at the time of the Sound System days… As well as a Dj he was a soundman. He followed Chicken, Scrap Iron and Fat Man Around those days. Paul had a sound from his uncle a reggae sound that was converted in to a soul sound. They called it Troublefunk and this is where he acquired his nickname “Troubleâ€.
Around this time he meet George Power, one of the founders of Kiss FM, who asked him to be a warm up Dj at several venues. Who was best respected for his jazz funk at Crackers. Paul had a fresh funky sound and was playing at many clubs, to name a few, The Maize Club at Ronnie Scott’s, Bumbles and Red Box.
He was instrumental in the London club scene and helped making clubs like Crackers, Spats, The Embassy, Global Village and Electric Ballroom Legendary!
1985 he was asked to join Kiss and found the prospect of promoting dance music on air an exciting one. This is when he really developed his creativity and skill. In 1990 Kiss went legal and "Troubles Original Mix Show was an unmissable event, he stayed on there for 8 years
Paul has lent his remixing skills to Nomad on his Uk No1 Devotion and Junior Reid's Jamaica NO1 One Blood. He has also remixed for names like Blaze, Pet Shop Boys, Thelma Houston, Byron Stingily and many more.
Paul has run several succesful club nights like "Troubles House" at Legends and "The Loft" at HQ. The Loft run for 10 years and was named the best mid week club for 3 years running. He brought in many guests, people like; Loletta Holloway, Jocelyn Brown, MAW, Tony Humphries, Rosie Gaines, Michael Watford and Barbara Tucker.

In 2000 Paul released a live mix album "Troubles House" on R2 Records which features an inspired collection of soulful House.
In Recent years Paul has played a big role in the Italian Club Scene and has a close link with the Italian Fashion Scene. Naming a few; Julian Mcdonald and Chanel.
In 2004 he was involved in a Ministry of Sound tour in Italy, accompanied by Howard Donald from Take That. He also won an Award at an Italian music festival for promoting House music.
He has done guest Radio shows for Radio 1, Virgin FM, Jazz FM and Ministry of Sound. At the moment he run a weekly show on www.pushfm.com every friday between the hours of 20.00-22.00.
In Uk Paul has had residencies at clubs like Garage City, Soul Heaven, Househuntin and Southport weekender.
To the Fans it is his ability to make you want to move and his mixing skills that stands out! Paul has been around for 30 years, and will carry on championing dance music at present and future!
