I started djing back when i was 16 and was originally influenced by the breakdance scene.
I used to watch the likes of grandmaster flash in films like beat street and breakdance.
I have always had the taste of soul in my music due to my older brothers that loved there soul music.
My first 12" i remember buying was the temptations treat her like a lady i was about 14.
When i started djing all my mates where into jungle and my music of soulful house was slated and called gey.
now the people who said that all love soulful house and i cant help but think " TOLD YA SO YA MUPPETTS"
I did my first set at a club when i was 16 being tall had its advantages lol!!
I have run hear no evil promotions now with my brother scott miller and friend simon jay and we put nights on in and around our town for 17 years bringing some big names into our home.
I have also dj,d at many other clubs in and around london such as sin , ministry, vamp , and many more.
I have played on many pirate radio stations and enjoyed every minute although i dont miss the smelly tower blocks they used to be in and the dti on ya ass!!!Nowadays i cant be bothered with all that and have opted to do internet radio
With my bro we do every friday night from 6pm right up to 10pm gmt on WWW.RADIOGOTSOUL.COM its a station dedicated to the soulful music of the world.
