The New Jersey base sound King Agony Muzik was establish in the late 80's to early 90's by Derrick Lexus,Ricky Gagamel and Andy Worries formaly from the Little Rock Sound. In the early 90's King Agony Muzik was one of the top sounds in the New Jersey area next to the original Bulletproof Sound (Pat N.J) Studio 22(Pat.N.J) Rythym Track (E.O N.J) Soundtek (Teaneck N.J) and a host of other sounds in the tri-state area. In 98 the sound went into surclution when the once dub the dream team parted ways when Derrick and Ricky form another sound called Lexxus and Andy Worries went on to become the most feared selector in N.J when he took over the Little Rock sound becoming the only sound in N.J to make it to World Clash. For 5yrs the sound was quiet til the middle of 2004 when the founders of K.Agony Muzik decided to give the sound to one the top selectors in the tri-state D.J Badala.B formally from the original Bulletproof sound and the co-founder of Matrix sound (E.O N.J). Instead of releasing the sound back in the tri-state Badala.B decided to relocate King Agony Muzik to Charlotte N.C where in 3 months of moving there quickly became the top sound in the Carolina's. Badala.B's resume as top selector is a neverending list of accomplishment in the Dancehall scene. First by being born in N.J and knowing the history of Reggae music to the roots thanks to sounds like Papa Moke,Taurus Hifi,Love Choice,Kahdafi Sound and Tony Culture.Badala.B is one the first selectors in the tri-state to incorporate live sratching and remixes to dancehall music in the early 90's which open the doors for sounds Renisance and every other sound to take the hip hop style of playing reggae music to the next level.Badala.B has traveled the world playing alongside the best of the best such sounds like his mentor Bobby Konders and Jabba (Massive B) Rory, Billy slaughter,Barney and the entire Stone love Movement,Tony Matterhorn,Afrique,Pretty Posse,Killa Bo King Agony(N.Y.C)Young Hawk Mighty Crown,David Rodigan,Barry.G,Delano, put it this way if there a hot sound Badala.B has played alongside them.
