Soon.............. This will be a work in progress. Hmmm, horror horror horror. The films. The books. Even the damn movie scores. I never thought I'd own a copy of Pino Donaggio's music for "Don't Look Now" or Michael Hoenig's "The Blob" but now I do. I've managed to collect some 200 plus horror films scores which are almost always playing here in my home, which, lol, gives my apartment this constant atmosphere of menace and dread. It's fun. A sure way to get on my bad side is behave like some above it all art fag whom is simply just to good to watch a scary flick or two with me. C'mon on over, and I'll throw in "The Gates Of Hell" or something. You haven't seen cinema until you've witnessed a girl vomiting up her entire intestinal tract while crying tears of blood.

"I must say I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a good book." - Groucho Marx

Books:

Everything about Greek Mythology Everything by Dennis Cooper Everything by H.P. Lovecraft Yesterday. Today. Always. Poppy Z. Brite's "Drawing Blood". One of my all time favorites of the genre (that would be horror fiction folks).
1984 by George Orwell The Encyclopedia Of Unusual Sex Practices by Dr. Brenda Love Coney Island Of The Mind by Lawrence Ferlinghetti Everything by Ray Bradbury Eros Denied by Wayland Young Geek Love by Katherine Dunn (I swear this fucker will change your life!) Wow! I had the distinct pleasure of reading not one, but two, of the most compelling and frightening novels I've ever read ever in the same year."Incarnate" and "The Hungry Moon". Not only are they both by the same author, Ramsey Campbell, but I devoured them both back to back. Not to sound like some overzealous book critic, but seriously, these babies were damned scary, the pitch of creeping dread that is reached in these two books is nothing less than masterfull. My hats off to the author. I know I'm probably not going to convert anyone I know to go pick them up (snobs) but if you think you might enjoy the experience of reading someone who elevates horror fiction to an art form, you can't go wrong. And never judge this man's books by their covers, his publishers never did figure out how to market him. The covers scream "cheap thrill" but Mr. Campbell's style has always been more in line with a Val Lewton film, rather than a Lucio Fulci. That translates into subtle with a dash of class people. Go get them. Now.
I have all the classics, Burroughs, Kerouac, Steinbeck,Twain, Wells, Vonnegut etc. I haven't gotten to them yet but I have like 2000 books on my shelves, so off my back already. Oh, and you Ramsey Campbell haters out there who complain that he is "slow".....it takes a lot of nerve to blame a brilliant writer for your laughably short attention span.
