About Me

Get an instrumental sneak peek here on MySpace of the song This war is so easy to win, which will be one of the tracks on our upcoming EP! Please tell us what you think!
Drummers Johan Schuster and Max Grahn met at a couple of local gigs in early 2004. Back then Johan played with a band called The Distorted Pilot Programme and Max played with a band called Dissectum (later known as The Shattering). Shortly after that, Johan wrote and recorded a couple of angry songs by himself in his hobbystudio. He showed them to Max via the amazing internet, and he really liked it. Johan had been thinking of putting together a really angry and, most important of all, interesting band for quite a time then. Something that would amaze the crowd, whatever shitty joint they would play at. Then one night in November/December 2004, Johan was a little tipsy and called Max asking if he wanted to come to Karlshamn for a weekend and record some new music. Max gladly said yes.
So in January 2005 Max went to Johan's studio, along with Andreas Wiberg, Max's bandmate and childhood friend. They spent a weekend there recording three songs that turned out really good. Back then Andreas played the bass, but later switched to the guitar as Robin Holmberg, also a member of The Shattering, joined the band. This four-piece constellation played a few local gigs and then decided to bring in another guitarplayer. Simon Weidenberg, a local musicfanatic with fantastic hair and sideburns, came to mind, and the band now had a full line-up. After that, the band played many successful gigs, including the famous Hultsfred festival in June 2006, and recorded some more songs.
Right now Skörda is in the studio recording their first five-track EP. It'll make your ears bleed and your mouth smile. When? Early 2007.
To be continued.
