Hi!
I'm a 21-year old Dutch girl. I'm a third year student of English language and culture. I currently study at Salford University for a semester, but am officially a student of RijksUniversiteit Groningen (NL)!

I love music. Play the piano, but since that one's at my parents I hardly do anything other than sing, even though I (used to) have an accoustic guitar on my room. But, to quote Elijah Wood: "I can't play to save my life." No, I can't. At all. I should, though.
I'm a rollercoaster of emotions. Temperamental, I get angry like lightning. I strike hard, but forgive easily. I try to be honest, which is both appreciated and hated. I'm too much of a romantic. I'm a dreamer, and want to go for someone 100 percent, not settle. I think my grandfather is the most romantic man on this planet (for instance, he picks out the chocolate out of Vienetta ice cream for my grandmother).
I have difficulty trusting people. I have a few very good friends, but even though I trust them, I keep on testing them out, to see if I don't care more about them than they do about me, thus making it impossible for them to hurt me.
I love meeting new people, but often people mistake me for being merely bubbly and bouncy. They don't see the other side of me. Stick around and you'll find out.

My Interests

Lots! Music, books, DVDs, LiveJournal, going to concerts, hanging out with friends, seeing films at the cinema, chatting on MSN, AIM and Yahoo!, having fun, board games, computer games, Dick and Dom, accents, Ireland, The Sims 2, etc, etc, etc! But first and foremost it's acting (gotta learn those lines!) at the moment! :)

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet that guy who will go that extra mile for me. The guy who makes me feel alive. The guy I won't feel like settling with. The guy who likes me as much as I like him, without getting (too) spooked. Up until now I haven't found him yet.
Last, but definitely not least, I'd like to meet anyone who is interesting, not shallow, and honest. I value real people.

I don't want to meet guys with slick pick-up lines. They are a guaranteed turn-off, and only allowed to be made by my very close male friends (or if the guy in question is very very cute and very very drunk, I might find it in my heart to forgive him then :P).
