About Me

Plain and simple, I'm crazy, complex, deep, interesting, easy-going, loving, confident, campassionate, romantic, FUNNY, charismatic, i'm a whack job... blah, blah, blahhhh......... you can only truly know a person from talking to them, right? Some background info:I was born in CT. I've lived in Massachusetts almost my whole life and I love it here. I grew up in Southwick which is small town in the middle of nowhere. Childhood was not the happiest experience, but I still managed to come out of it being well-adjusted, and having learned some amazing life lessons. Now, I'm a 22 year-old senior at Northeastern University in Boston. Ummm... If you read my interests you can see all of the things that I like to do. I'm pretty active on my campus and I like it that way (sometimes I'm an overachiever haha). I like the fact that on a campus where over 30,000 people walk each day I can't turn a corner without seeing someone I know. It's home. Although, as more people graduate every year it's getting more lonely. I'm a marketing and management major, and I'll have my Bachelor's in January 2008.I'm really ready for a new experience, so I was thinking about Chicago, southern California, NYC or Australia for my next big move post-graduation. Now, I'm STRONGLY considering Phoenix, Arizona. My plans have been to go from undergrad straight to grad school for my Masters in Higher Ed, and later an MBA, but lately I'm pretty unsure of where I'm heading. Maybe I'll take a year or two and get working, and then go back for my Masters degrees. It's the first time in my life I've been so uncertain of what direction I'm heading in, but I'm not worried.Ummm... I normally set major life goals so far in advance that I have all of the big picture details already planned. But, on the path to where I want to be I like to let life take me where it will. I love adventure and spontaneity. I try not to plot out every minor detail in life, as long as the major ones are still in site. I'm constantly striving to make my life better and to grow as a person. I have basically learned that I can take any experience, no matter how negative, and turn it around, learn something from it, and be better for having gone through it.Laughter is the key to my heart. I can't live a day without trying to crack a joke, or a one-liner. Making people laugh makes my day.On friends and family: "The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don't, but in the end they're the people you always come home to. Sometimes it's the family you're born into and sometimes it's the one you make for yourself." My score on The LONG Scientific Personality Test :
ENFJ- The Teacher
(You scored 81% E to I, 26% N to S, 47% F to T, and 31% J to P!)
Your type is known as the teacher, or the educating mentor. You also belong to the larger group, called idealists. You tend to bring out the best in other people. You lead without seeming to do so. People are naturally drawn to you. You expect the very best from people which takes the form of enthusiastic encouragement which is so charming that people try their best not to disappoint you. You share your personality type with 3% of the population. You need to feel a deep and meaningful connection to your romantic partners, and go to great lengths to understand and please your mate. Harmony is vitally important to you, and you often put others' needs before your own. You have a pretty thin skin and are easily hurt. Although you strive for harmony, when your values or ethics are violated, you can be very emotional, confrontational, and even punishing. However, you are very insightful about the underlying cause of conflicts, and an excellent communicator, so you have the tools to bring about a quick and peaceful resolution as long as you can keep control of your facilities. You want to be appreciated for your thoughtfulness and compassion. You need your partner to make a real effort to get to know you. Above all, you need to be able to express your feelings and have them taken seriously. Your group summary: idealists (NF) Your type summary: ENFJ

My Interests

Friends, being active, the gym, school, Boston, Northeastern University, social & responsible drinking, parties, walking, running, work, being funny, boys, acting, singing, dancing, social events, movies, shows, concerts, looking at pictures, sleeping, being crazy, cuddling, smiles, laughing, innocent kisses, being coy, summer, first snowfalls, the beach, driving down back roads with the windows down and the music up, reminiscent sing-alongs, high school friends, Sigma Sigma Sigma,

I'd like to meet:

I want someone I can listen to and be there for, and also someone who'll do the same for me. I want that person to be there for me emotionally, but not allow themselves to become my sole source of happiness. I need to do that on my own. Basically, I want to share the love and happiness I have with someone else, not try and get my happiness from them. I love being in a relationship, but each of us being able to have our own individualities is what keeps the relationship healthy and interesting. You should enter into a relationship to share what you have, not to get what you have not. Although, one of the benefits of a relationship is getting things you weren't expecting. That's how we grow and better ourselves.
