DJ E-Lite (real name Ester Krizkova) started her DJ career in 2002 with a course of lessons at MP4 DJ School in her home town of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Her first public appearance followed a few months later at the popular Eternity party in Ostrava’s highly respected club Fabric. Her talent and musical diversity immediately made a good impression amongst promoters and clubbers alike and in 2003 she was bombarded with requests to book her. Amongst the most significant of these are gigs at Prague’s exclusive Duplex club, at huge summer festivals such as Creamfields and Hradhouse or top Czech club Roxy. Before long her potential was noticed by JPA, an agency that represents some of the most popular DJs in the Czech Republic, and after her successful performance at their event with Mauro Piccoto she was asked to join their roster.
In 2004 it seemed her rise to fame was unstoppable. An official mix CD, front cover of Xmag magazine, appearances on a number of radio stations, a sold-out gig with DJ Tiesto at the T-Mobile Arena, a booking at another year’s edition of Creamfields alongside Tall Paul, Timo Maas, Westbam, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfoald and many more. Also mega-parties like Semtex Culture, United Islands are just a fraction of what E-Lite achieved in 2004.
Now she is in Germany booking agency Evolution Music . Thanks to her energetic and eclectic sets she has won over fans all over the Czech Republic and beyond – for example in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Italy. The combination of funky, pumping club music and likeable, extroverted image has made her very much in demand, and without a doubt she has before her a very bright future.
