Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. SRS ROGUE LION film is a new independent company. We are currently developing over a dozen film projects ranging from SI/FI, to westerns, drama, to comedy. We look forward to living up to are potential. We also hope to bring new faces to the big screen. We wish to help in our community as well by donating some of our profits to aids and cancer research, food and shelter for the homeless, and other philanthropic endeavors.I edited my profile at Doobix.com

SRS/ROGUE LION FILMS is a start-up enterprise engaged in the development and production of motion picture films for theatrical release. Our goals are to make various genre films, by giving new and future writes, actors, and directors a realm to showcase and expand the feature film industry. For to long, the major studios have been content to follow trends or do remakes of once popular movies. This has proved to be non-profitable. Over the last 5 years, the major studios have collectively lost 3.2 billion dollars on these projects. While independent productions have climbed over the 5 billion dollar profit range in the same period. SRS/ROGUE LION FILMS plans to produce 10 – 15 films in the next 5 years, with budgets ranging from 1 to 50 million dollars. We also plan to introduce countless new names in acting, directing, and writing to an industry in need of an infusion.

THE INDUSTRYThe success of the 2002 release “ My Big Fat Greek Wedding” which has earned more than $240 million to date domestically , and the 1999 “ Blair Witch Project” ,which earned more than $ 300 million in worldwide revenue, have revolutionized the independent films future. Studios and distributors now see independent films as a bigger share of the viewing publics revenues. Independent films can vary widely in budget and genre, but remain a viable industry product , with the freedom to be in control creatively, and also from studio “ Genre” overload. Our company believes the time is right to make cost effective films on smaller budgets. These type of films are able to move into large commercial theaters because of their wide appeal. SRS/ROGUE LION FILMS intend to keep it’s films independent in order to maintain the quality and the creativity of the story and filming. Also to help up and coming writers , actors and directors with a outlet for new ideas.
