Alecia Weeks-Garrick is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. She has been married to Larry Garrick for 18 anointed years they are the proud parents of Larry Jr., Whitney and Shaniah.Alecia has been singing since the age of three during her mother evangelistic ministry. She learned at an early age the power and anointing on her life. At age sixteen she lost her mother to Lupus. After this tragedy, her life began to change. She begins to run from the call of God on her life and pursue the things of the world. While she was running God begin to mold her in His image. This was answer to her mother’s prayer. At age twenty-six she submitted her life to Jesus Christ and vowed to serve Him in her life and music ministry. Through her prayer of salvation God begin opening her eyes to His word, Holy Spirit and wisdom. It was then that she realized that the one person she was running from was the only person she should have been running to.Alecia an active member of Kingdom Vision Church under the provoking and anointed leadership ,of Pastors Johnny and Cindy White in Columbia, South Carolina. She serves there on the intercessory prayer team and ministerial staff. She also served on the praise and worship team and choir.Alecia has opened for many professional artists and Pastors throughout her career such as Shirley Caesar, Helen Baylor, Stephen Hurd, Tarralyn Ramsey, Ametria, Keith Staten, Rev. Al Sharpton, Dr. Ira and Bridgette Hilliard and Pastor Brenda Fruster . In 1993 she song with Pastor John P Kee and the New Life Community Choir. In 1996 and 1997 she appeared of the Apollo in Harlem, New York. She has appeared in the August September 2004 of Imara Woman Magazine. She has appeared on WIS-10, WLTX-19 and also featured in the South Carolina State Newspaper.2005,2006 and 2007 she appeared at The South Carolina State Fair. And God continues to show his hand of favor by allowing her to travel in state and out of state. Alecia is being mentored by Dr. Helen Baylor. During Alecia’s early 20’s she look up to Dr. Baylor and now God has allow her to Fellowship with her. In May 2006 Alecia celebrated 5 years in ministry. Dr. Helen Baylor was the featured guest.

Alecia was formerly the host of a local television show entitled “Today’s Gospel with Alecia Garrick†featured on UPN 47 Cable 13. This show features Pastors, Evangelist, Minister of Songs, Directors of Music, Local and National Recording artist. She has interviewed James Bignon, Mary Mary, Benita Washington, and Lee Williams, Keith “The Wonder boy†Johnson and Evangelist Beverly Crawford, Dr. Bobby Jones , Alex Snipes, Arkintunde just to name a few. In 2007 Alecia conducted her first women conference entitled “ Virtuous Women Fellowship†That pampered homeless women and children. Alecia is currently working on the next year conference that will feature a play of her life entitled “A Virtuous Womanâ€.

God begin to deal with Alecia concerning her ministry of music and declared that she was not just a singer who ministers but a minister who sings. That is when God had her to follow her mentor Dr. Helen Baylor to receive an impartation of grace and deliverance. To help other women Alecia Garrick begin to realize that she must start sharing her testimony openly. After a young adult hood of separation, verge of divorce, party life, promiscuous living , drugs and alcohol and being homelessness. God mended her marriage delivered her from her former lifestyle. She then realize what she went through was to help someone else. Alecia Garrick conducts a Monday night bible study at the homeless, battered and substance abuse women’s shelter as well as services at the women’ prison And she is currently planning to open a transitional house for women and children “Virtuous Women Shelterâ€
