"Heavy and technically very precise. The riffs were thick and the leads nice, but it is their combination with the vocals that sells the band. They are a perfect match of evil melody and raw throated vocal emissions. They are definitely an act to keep an eye on." - BC Music
The summer of 2005 marked the first major step in Cytheran Theory's musical career. With the recording of "Entirety", the band's debut CD, the band set out on a rigorous touring schedule. With many changing faces since then, original members Rob Favreau (ex-Asaru, 12 Gauge, Helveds Ulv) and Scott McNeight (ex-Asaru, Helveds Ulv) have finally recruited what looks to be the band's final lineup bringing in John Mazurowski (ex-Dissolve, Nidus, Bloodgasm, Abominatrix) on guitar, Mike Griskauskas (ex-Synphony, Soul Shroud) on bass , and Pat O'Riley (ex-Darling Demoniac, Lugosis Needle) on drums. All 5 members bring something unique to the table with very diverse musical backgrounds, with influences stemming from everything Black to Death Metal, from Hardcore to Power Metal and beyond. Cytheran Theory is set to enter Millbrook Sound Studio's in the coming months to record the follow up to "Entirety" and then hit the road to unleash their unique brand of Metal upon the unsuspecting masses.
