Traveling is one of my greatest loves, along with anything to do with it. Im a Travel Channel addict. History takes a close second, and usually goes hand in hand with the travel. Im not a lie on the beach kind of girl- give me ancient burial sites and 4000 year old ruins! Geneaology is also a fun subject for me. Living in a household of men has made me a raging soccer (futbol for you in the know) fan! I support Chelsea and Chicago Fire. I adore animals, and have been blessed to have been chosen as family to 3 cats, and a wonderful Husky/Lab mix. I love to read, and study anything that expands my mind.
I'd like to meet:
I suppose there are many many of those who have passed before that I would loved to have waxed philisophical with, however I won't go into that here. Im not one to be star struck, I've met several "famous" people who have not been very nice or interesting. But there are a few in the public eye that I think it would be cool to meet and would have things to talk about. Stevie Nicks comes to mind... John Cusak. Nicholas Cage and Sandra Bullock. I'd like to meet Prince William just to say that his mother would have been proud of him. And I think it would be a hoot to have a pint with Harry!

Yes please.... seriously- any of it. Except heavy rap. Not my thing. Im a rock chick by nature, but my husband is a singer so anything that comes out of his mouth tickles my fancy. To actually try to start naming artists would be insane for me.
Movies:
Again... this is much too hard. I don't feel inclined to walk to my wall and start listing my dvd collection. One's I watch over and over are Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dead Again, The Englishman who Went up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain, Dances With Wolves, any of the Lord of the Rings and Pirates... both of them... The Holiday, Under the Tuscan Sun, and Chocolate for my "empowerment" movies. Again- to extensive and diverse to list.
Television:
This is easier. My newest obsession is Torchwood, a spin off from my all time favorite- Dr. Who. I watch both faithfully. Otherwise, if it is not travel or history I love Bones and House, both on Fox. Ghost Hunters and Most Haunted are up there, and weeds is awesome too. Im also a big fan of South Park, and a closet American Idol addict!
Books:
Anything Anne Rice. My animals are Marius, Mojo and Pandora, those of you who have read her will know all of them! Otherwise, I like to read books about holistic heath, spiritual paths, reincarnation, and history. I also dig historical fiction.
