Im a 29yo dj from south london iv'e been playing music since i was 13-14,used to play tunes in my bedroom as did most i would imagine with me school pals.
It wasnt till i was 15 i played out for the 1st time in a pub in my local area and got the buzz of dropping tunes in front of a crowd,after that i did lots of house partys and pubs in my local area till i was about 17 then i managed to aquire a slot on at the time one of londons most popular pirate stations it was a real buzz.
From that i got to play in some proper clubs in london strawberry sundays in vauxhall was one of the main events i remember doing along with HQ Club in camden also sun city and adrenaline village that was a huge venue i used to love it there... when i reached 19 i went on holiday to a place called kardamena on the island of kos and met dj Lockin he was playing at the most popular club in kos and was and i think still is one of the best dj's around i learnt so much from him about crowd control and selection as in a holiday resort these are the key factors to keeping your club busy and jumpin that year i stayed in kos and managed to get a job in a bar playing mainstream dance music and i also managed to get a play alongside Lockin at the end of the night in kardamenas busiest nightspot Status Club.
My next year in kos i played at rival club startlight with pete le groove we were all friends by then there was 4 of us me and pete in starlight and Lockin and a guy called Leon who you may now know as Agent X in status,
Now in kos we were playing 7 nights a week to big crowds i was gaining so much experiance then the following year the regular dj's id met didnt return so i was given status club to do and never looked back ive been playing there everyear as there resident continually filling it up and rocking it everynight its a non stop party out there this year will be my 9th summer as status club resident and im looking forward to it as much as the 1st time i played there.. the last cpl of years aswell ive been doing a lot more on the london scene due to the fact i met promoters from trinity & immaculate touch who were doing events in kos at the time but couldent help but notice me and my mate Heggie rocking the club down the road from there event with upfront tunes they did not expect to hear in kos we are now part of a great team putting on some of the best nights in london plz continue to check myspace for up and coming events and we will show you how to party thanx for reading...see u there...Jaye WalkerTHIS "SATURDAY THE 14TH APRIL" OUR SIN PARTY HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO "TELEGRAPH" IN BRIXTON ITS A WICKED VENUE NEWLY REFURBED AND THIS IS THE 1ST PARTY TO BE HELD THERE MESSAGE ME FOR £10 TICKETS OR ANY OTHER INFO YOU NEED !!
