'Local five-piece Inntown provides the perfect opening for the night with their country-tinged, accessible pop sensibilities, and most importantly some mighty fine tunes. The musicianship is flawless and the showmanship and chemistry between the band members is a pleasure to watch.' - Timeoff 4/7/07
Stephen has recently recorded an EP consisting of 6 original tracks with “Inntown” at Black Box Studio Brisbane with Jeff Lovejoy. The EP is due for release at the Troubadour on Nov. 10th. They are aiming for radio play from Triple JJJ and community radio stations nationally. Currently have label interest, and planning an east coast tour for early 2008.
NOVEMBER 07:
** SOLO at the Alley Bar, 7th November. Playing along side Kent Street. Its cheap as chips and there's bowling next door which is always a bit of fun. yeah!
**Inntown are launching their debut EP 'Forget About It' at The Troubadour in Brisbane on November 10th as part of the eagerly awaited 'Twang Fest'. The show begins at 4pm-midnight. Inntown hit the stage at 9:45pm. You don't have to be a lover of country music, this line up is quite sensational. Please see poster below. ps. Tune into 4zzz on the 3rd Nov at 3pm as we promote the EP and gig.
**Sunday November 18th Inntown will be heading to the cosy and intimate bar of Barsoma, located 22 Constance street, Fort. Valley. The show begins at 5pm with solo acts including Chris Pickering. PJ Weston will be launching his album, with Inntown closing the night from 8:30 till they fall off stage.
**A sunny sunday afternoon at the famous Ric's Bar (Brunswick street,Valley) on 25th November will see Inntown playing at 5pm, with friends Skinny Jean on at 4pm. This is free and super fun, so come join us for some drinks and laughter as we discuss things like leather bound books, and when it is/isn't appropriate to use the phrase 'When in Rome'.
That closes out November for now. Inntown will be having a month break over December while members catch up with family members they love visiting. It's also a good time to just watch a lot of cricket. So please celebrate this great month of November with us as we celebrate our new CD, and hopefully see you at one of our shows!
