CLEMENS HAIPL and DAVID PFISTER pay the rent and earn their daily bread toiling at jobs in TV and radio. They write for magazines, newspapers and they DJ. They've also been active musicians since before the dawning of time. It made perfect sense to make music together considering Clemens and David's mutual taste in pop music not to mention the fact that they also really like each other. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////
They spent an entire summer locked up in Clemens' recording studio working on a project called "Heirstyle". The resulting material is a folly of electroglamfuck. Penetrating sequencers, beats that smell like amphetamines and lyrics that spit love, bile and nihilism. A few tracks feature the vocal stylings of SASKIA DRENNING.//////////////////////////////////////////////2005 the Heirstyle-Crew got new blood. ROBERT ZIKMUND on guitar and ALEX WUNDERBAR on drums joined the band.///////////////////////////////Heirstyle supported acts such as COBRA KILLER, CLIENT and IAMX with their live show.//////////////////////////////////////2006 HEIRSTYLE released a fistful of songs on different compilations and singles and their video "hoelle". And Heirstyle did some soundtracks. You can find previously unreleased tracks by Heirstyle like "fuck" on beautiful MISS RENEE PORNERO's first directed movie "Viennese". You also can see Heirstyle-members acting for the first time in this documentary about anatomy.
