I am an artist living and working in St. Ives, Cornwall.
I have been painting for 10 years & work mostly in oils. I don't often liken my work to any other artists as such, I just do what I do.Of course, I do have early influences, being trained for 5 years by an artist heavilly influenced by Turner rubbed off. I also found Sisley, Monet & Van Gogh great help in starting out with valuable techniques & nowadays my more 'modern' inspirations are along the lines of Jackson Pollock & Kurt Jackson.I have exhibited in galleries here in the UK, and last year enjoyed my first Solo Exhibition in Cornwall.
