Totally Trashed by Karin Helen Grontvedt!Totally Trashed is clothes and accessories made from second hand garments and recycled material. For my latest collection I have taken inspiration from the last collection, wich had very sculptural pieces made from recycled material such as bras, shoulderpads, boots, belts, denim waistbands, videotape, ringpulls, bottlecaps, fruit and vegetable netting and more. I have used some of the same material this time, but made every creation more wearable. Still, every piece is unique. When I use old clothes, I take them apart and create something totally new and different from the material. All my dresses are well fitted and made to be flattering for the female body. Because I create garments from second hand clothes and recycled material, no two pieces will be exactly the same. Any material used is either donated from friends and family or found in charity shops. That way I support a good cause as well as recycling.
