Fernando Lopez is a progressive house and house music DJ, remixer, and producer. Fernando was born in October 18, 1990 at Guanajuato, Mexico. Fernando is supported by house legend Pete Tong and great genius of Neon Stereo. Pete Tong featured Fernando Lopez on his show “Fast Trax†and respectfully quoted “Fernando likes dropping hot sexy beats!â€.
Fernando Lopez has exciting future projects and remixes involving Neon Stereo, Fridge music, Harley, Danny PM and a lot others. Fernando has also been up to discovering new and possible ways of creating “therapy†on the dance floor with music. The demand of more music from the nonstop growing fan system, has inspired Fernando to look forward to more production time.
Fernando Lopez grew up in Chicago, and was introduced to Chicago house at the age of 13. Fernando started mixing at the age of 14, everyday coming home and trying to get twice as good as before. At the age of 15, Fernando started remixing bootlegs trying to develop his own style. Fernando has now released his first profession remix with Proxoz. After growing experience and gaining recognition from a house legend and a soon to become one, Fernando has release the most import thing in music.
Fernando Lopez has realized it’s about patience, culture and the process of thinking when you are working along side music. Fernando doesn’t get twice as good at production and mixing these days but he’s working on how to implant music into his mind, it’s a ultimate tool great musicians go their whole life figuring it out. Fernando uses a emotional and musical strategy when mixing called “key centre†as used in jazz, blues and in artists like Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Fernando uses “key centre†in mixing to create texture and emotional build ups in the dance floor (this strategy is not easy to learn only the best dj’s know and understand this method as Armin Van Buren and Dj Sasha use this method).
