SPAENNKRAFT TRIO is a free improvisation group that was founded by HÃ¥vard Volden (NOR), Felician Honsig-Erlenburg (AUT) and Carlo Costa (ITA) in Boston in 2005. Since then the members of the band have mooved around quite a bit... now days Felician is living in Vienna, Carlo is in New York City, and HÃ¥vard has recently moved to Oslo. Even if distance apparently keeps them apart, the Spaennkrafters often meet to work on their music and perform.
In a recent tour (february 2007) they have performed in Rome (Italy), Vienna and Klagenfurt (Austria), and Trhondheim and Oslo (Norway).
