Diamond Dave Russell

Well during the early 90's Diamond Dave had an attempt at a career job and had an attempt at getting married. Neither of the two really worked out. So I thought I better become a musican and have been going hard every since. Managing approx. 200 gigs a year. Playing mostly upright bass these days Dave keeps busy with 3 different bands, and still occationally doing the rent-a-bass player bit.Washboard Hank:Dave has been playing for Hank about five years now doing lots of cool shows, festivals, having lots of fun, drinkin' lots o beer, chineese food buffets.Electric City Ramblers:the old work horse band. A bit of a collective these days. Playing with long time music buddy and good friend Dave McQuarrie.The County Boys.Daves all original Band. Playing with Tin Can Chris Culgin and Banjo Benj Rowland. 3 songerwriters, 3 singers. Fairly new band but doing really well. Exciting live.
