DJ KIMPA.Born in Sweden, Gothenburg, grew up in a family of musicians therefor had her path clearly figured out since early years. Now lives in London since 2003, which brought out the best in her as a musician and as a Dj. Inspired of great names within the underground- and dance scene the swede(licious) grew into the roll as a true entertainer behind the decks as well as on the dance floor as a notorious clubber. Spinning the turntables since 2005 gives you a pretty good idea where this girls is heading- to something great, she's a force to be recognized with in the future.Being at the right place at the right time and with huge support from family and friends has made her what she is today-an upcoming talented Dj. The opportunity and priviledge to be apart and play for the succesful party in London, Techno Sessions, sure gave a push in the right direction and there is no stopping there.Kimpa has played alongside some of the greatest Djs in London such as Chris Liberator, Jeff Amadeus, Dave the Drummer, Jerome Hill, Lusinda, Dj Clodagh, Jackie Misfit, Animatek, Olivier FX, Ludgero, Rodrigo Ruiz and Briza in various venues and events such as in Turnmills, The Fridge, Telegraph, The Jamm, Dance Industry Recording Studios, and for sone of the biggest soundsystems in London. In april 2007 she was headlining abroad in Croatia for Tech Art.First choice of music and style is of course Techno- tribal, funky, melodic with a twist of an electric sound followed by dirty heavy basslines!! Be prepared to be entertained on a high level with good amount of energy and playful skills.
