Daggers and Diamonds (originally From Here Inside) formed in late December 2006 in the hopes of forming a group that might be able to gig all over the UK and eventually abroad. Three out of the four members had been in local bands for a good few years and therefore they found it easy to develop their unique sound that landed them some fairly prestigious support slots. These were for such acts as Matt Willis, The Misfits, Kill the Arcade, The Riverclub, Go: Audio, and Flood of Red. They did a mini UK tour playing shows in London, Cambridge and Leeds over the space of one week.
Paul describes their music as "kind of like indie pop punk with dancy drum beats" - something that everyone should at least hear once if only to discover exactly what he means!!Their music really is incredibly good for four twenty-something- year- old teens who, despite the collapse of the conventional music industry, just want to play their music and have fun.If you want a good night out with good music, go to a D+D show and go and say hey to the guys who are actually quite a lot of fun.-(written by a friend and fan of the band)"Daggers and Diamonds achieve a style of their own; best described as dark, gritty, pop-punk that draws comparisons to Jimmy Eat World and Alkaline Trio but with an aggressiveness that would frighten The Gallows" - Patrick - www.myspace.com/whenthenightfeels"For a bunch of such nice laid back guys you make some mentally agressive music" - Ryan - The Arcadians/The Mill Studios.Show your support!
